The Good: Very bright, even at default setting. I have been using this light at work for about two months now, and it has yet to run out of juice during a shift. The default setting produces a bright white light that will illuminate objects and people very well at long distances. Bump the output up to the highest setting (you'll know by the audible beeps that you are at the max output) and the beam is noticeably more intense. It seems pretty durable too -- I've dropped it a few times without any ill effects.
The Bad: Flimsy rubber cover over the AC/DC charger port. Desperately needs a lanyard. No memory when you change output settings -- release the trigger and re-engage and the light will immediately revert to its default setting. Looks like a toy to kids who would blind themselves or others if they get their hands on it.Get more detail about Stanley SL5W09 5 Watt LED Spot.
