The Cold Steel "Irish walking stick" is way too thick and bulky. It's weight is ridiculous. There are plenty of light weight but STRONG materials that this could have been made out of. It's too big and awkward to even use in self defense. I don't recommend it. For $25 extra dollars, you can order an authentic Irish blackthorn walking stick on line.
